European Commission launches the Energy Behavioural Change Toolkit

Energy Behaviour Forum has launched the energy behavioural change toolkit. This toolkit, based on the behaviour change wheel and inspired by the Users TCP Behavioural Insights Toolkit (developed by the Behavioural Insights Platform), is designed for policymakers and practitioners in local and regional authorities, who want to learn more about ways to apply behavioural insights techniques to improve behaviour change campaigns, programmes and interventions.

The toolkit guides users through the process of designing an intervention; allowing them to consider the aims of their programme and potential behavioural barriers faced by their target group. Then, users receive personalised solutions for their programme. The toolkit is complemented by the Energy Behaviour Forum’s offering of case studies, training, and guidance documents, to help users further develop their activities.
