The engage4energy community welcomes experts from the energy industry, academia, policymaking, and international non-profit organizations to become part of a multidisciplinary knowledge-sharing network. Engage4energy’s goal is to develop and promote best practice guidelines for effectively engaging citizens in the planning and implementation of energy infrastructure.
As part of the User-Centred Energy Systems Technology Collaboration Program (TCP) led by the International Energy Agency (IEA), engage4energy focuses on developing effective public engagement strategies surrounding emerging energy technologies, including hydrogen, greenhouse gas removal techniques such as carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS), and advanced nuclear technologies.
Membership in the engage4energy community provides unique opportunities for participants. Members will receive regular updates and insights from the community and can share their own research, case studies, and experiences. Additionally, participants will have access to workshops, training sessions, and interviews designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among experts.
