After a successful launch event on 3 September 2019 in London, the Global Observatory (GO-P2P) has started its work and welcomes new participants working on peer-to-peer energy trading/transactive energy and community self-consumption models (for more information on how to join, please visit the Observatory webpage). The next GO-P2P meeting will take place on 17-18 February 2020 in Florence (Italy) at the European University Institute.
This is the first of a series of regular GO-P2P meetings that will take place every six months. They will provide an opportunity for participants from across the world to meet in person and work together on Observatory deliverables, such as the comparative reports on factors influencing uptake of P2P/TE/CSC models in different countries. The first day of the Florence meeting will consist of an open day for all stakeholders interested in the Observatory’s work, and will include presentations by GO-P2P participants as well as of P2P/TE/CSC case studies.
If you wish to attend the open day of the GO-P2P meeting in Florence on 17 February 2020, please get in touch with the event organisers Nicolò Rossetto and Lucila De Almeida. In case of any questions on the Observatory and on how to join, please contact the GO-P2P Operating Agent Alexandra Schneiders.
