Successful Final Event for the Gender and Energy Task

An engaging panel discussion on “Empowering Energy Users” and “Gender-Responsivee Energy Policies” as well as an interactive workshop focusing on “Inclusive Energy Technologies” was on the hybrid meeting agenda.

The Gender and Energy Task is about to wrap up the work in the initial scope and the one-day event in Vienna offered a unique opportunity for key stakeholders in the realm of inclusive and sustainable energy transitions to convene and delve into critical inquiries. The event focused on research findings and interventions and discussing future developments and challenges in the area, bringing together a diverse array of participants, including policymakers, governmental representatives, energy technology developers, researchers, consultants, and providers.

A summary of the event – along with presentation slides and recordings – will soon be available.
